At the Investment Boot Camp for women, we take the mystery out of the investment process. We explain commonly used investment lingo and jargon, so that participants emerge with new-found confidence when it comes to their investments. Whether saving for your dream home, early retirement, or other important life goals, every woman must understand the fundamentals of investing.
We cover investment basics, such as stocks and bonds, risk and return and the importance of diversification. We look at designing an investment strategy to meet your tolerance for risk and your investment objectives, one that you can put into action immediately. We discuss how to choose and best work with a financial advisor. Using a real-life example, we will demystify the brokerage statement, so that you can understand your performance and track your progress toward your goals. And finally, you will discover how women invest differently than men.
